the strips would not restick
these were great and stuck my rug to the floor very well until i went to use my rug and try to reuse the strips (using the instructions given on the package). the strips never got their stickiness back no matter what i tried. so these were great if you don’t plan on moving the rug and reusing the strips.

I am not sure how many of this particular rug gripper I have ordered, but trust me for the quality and price none of the others can compare to these. I have tried many different brands, shapes, and sizes, some cheaper, some more expensive, but this particular brand stands out as the very best for my ceramic tile floors and area rugs! Application is easy, there is an “A” and a “B”, use them as instructed. I always set each corner on the rug first, all the way around the rug, then strip off the floor cover on each side of one corner and set it exactly where I want it, then strip off each floor cover and set each additional corner. You can stretch the rug corners so they are tight, because the first corner set holds tight! They never come loose until I need to pull the rug up for cleaning, the durability is amazing and they don’t move or allow the rug to curl, as long as you stretch it tight when you initially set them. They are worth every penny spent and I have used them for 2 years now. Since I have Great Danes, who like to make area rugs into play toys, these have stopped that behavior completely by staying flat and tight, even if they try to slide on a rug!

Solved all my problems with rugs moving. I used them on a ruggable in a high traffic area that was driving me crazy with how much it moved. it has not moved AT ALL in months now, I am so happy! If you are buying this for a ruggable they don’t stick to the underlay, they only stick to the material of the rug itself.

Super easy to use and very sticky. No tripping hazards anymore. Only problem is they may be too sticky. I went to just readjust one and couldn’t get it off, was worried about ripping something or damaging my floor so I stopped; have read reviews about it taking the backing off your rugs so I guess we’ll see when I go to move.
