If you’ve ever dreamed of making your home look Pinterest worthy without risking a trip to the emergency room, then these wood floating shelves are your new best friend! They’re sturdy, sleek, and will make your living room look like you’ve gotten your life together (even if you’re still eating cereal for dinner)! First of all installing them is surprisingly easy I was half expecting to accidentally knock a hole in the wall spent hours wondering why I’m not allowed to have nice things but the shelves fit snugly and the hardware was so simple actually felt like a DIY expert. Maybe I should start a blog?

The shelves are lightweight, was hoping for something a bit more sturdy. However, easy to install and seem more solid when on the walls. I am using them in my laundry room for extra storage and are working out well. The color is a nice neutral wood that goes well with my cream/ivory cabinets. Overall I would say it’s a good value for the money.

Bad anchors, fine shelves
Do yourself a favor and get your own drywall screws/anchors. I had 2 that twisted and snapped and they break really easy. One of the two the top fifth of the screw snapped off and the rest was stuck in the wall. The wood is rough and very light, but I suppose that’s a good thing as the shelves will be able to support more weight. They’re sturdy and look nice, instructions are practically useless and tell you nothing other than what type of anchor to use. If you’re willing to fumble around a bit they’re fine. I don’t regret buying them but they’re just me. Good for temporary living situations where you don’t care to get back your deposit.
