This is an effective, low-cost range expander! I got an MSI gaming PC over the summer and set it up in my bedroom, but had issues with getting a decent wifi signal from our router located on the floor below. I tried multiple Netgear range expanders, but to no avail (plus, the customer service reps I spoke to were incredibly rude.) I read online that the issue may be with my PC instead of my wifi router, so I purchased this device. It’s been a game changer! It was so easy to install and set up, and has reduced my loading speed from minutes (sometimes hours) to just a few seconds! The range is amazing, as it gives my PC full wifi signal. I highly recommend this to anyone with a slow PC or a wifi router that can’t be easily moved.

Had this plugged into my desktop pc that ran Windows 10 for about two years. No issues had and was faster than previous usb wifi sticks owned. No overheating, no wifi dropouts, or anything wonky. Recently I upgraded to a new system running Windows 11 and kept this wifi stick. For some reason it’s around 3-5 MB/s lower on average with downloads, but still hits the same top speeds at times. No changes in location with the desktop pc, same with the wifi router.Nevertheless, I think this product is pretty nice. Speeds, stability, and the usb convenience factor is too good to ignore.

Does exactly what you want. I have fiber 1gb internet. Ethernet wired I throw up a 900mb speed. Recently switch my computer setup around to upstairs and realized how awful the built WiFi off my motherboard is. Was throwing up a 70-80mb speed being upstairs. Bought this bad boy and brought my WiFi download speed up to 280mb and an upload speed of 275mb. Don’t be hesitant on this purchase at all. World of difference! Aim one antenna facing down towards the router a floor below me and the other antenna straight up towards the ceiling. Worked like a charm. Even if it lasts two years like some of the people are complaining about. That’s exactly how long the warranty covers for. So just buy a new one when the time is up. Not the end of the world for the price.
