Tozo NC9 ear buds
This is the fourth purchase of ear buds. I use them for sleep therapy music. All three previous purchases were for actual sleep (side sleeper) buds. These are not advertised for this use, but I bought them for that purpose anyway. Best decision, best purchase, and best value of all four purchases! These ears buds are fantastic. They’re not as low profile as I would like, but they are comfortable even if I sleep on my side. The sound quality is the best and the base comes thru deep and clear. The controls are easy to use, they’re easily customizable with fit having multiple ear fittings. I love the small case with clear battery display. The best is the battery life. I need at least 8 hours. These check that requirement very well (all the others failed @6). The one thing I love is when you’re close to draining the battery it gives you a tone (something like a video game tone) instead of a voice saying, “ low battery“! And a different tone when the battery does die. They play paired, but the battery life is separate. Meaning when one ear cuts out the other continues until it dies. Pairing is easy and once done it stays paired. These buds were the least in cost, but the best in quality 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Purchased these to replace a higher end set that went bad after a few years of use. Made a huge investment in that first pair and didn’t want to repeat that mistake. These are a better option, with good sound quality, decent battery life and you can download an app for fine control. Note:( you have to be careful here as there are several apps with similar names that are subscription based. The correct app is free to use. see included picture.) the self charging case is good for around 2 to 3 recharges before needing to be recharged itself. Battery life for the earbuds is around 6hrs maybe a bit longer. They do recharge fairly quickly. Installation is a snap. Just remove both ear buds and they automatically sync with your device after the initial blue tooth connection. Volume is adjusted by tapping the left and right earbud. You can stop/start the sound by taping either ear buds. I wish they were a little louder(preference) but the active noise canceling works. I can sit near a tv, which I basically dislike, turn on noise canceling and either a book or music and not hear a thing from the tv. 😉

These are the second pair of Tozo ear buds we bought. The quality is very good as these are noise cancelling and adjustable. They are used everyday all day. The charge lasts a long time. After a month the left ear bud stopped workingand we wrote to customer service reply was quick and efficient. They did not hesitate to send us a replacement. We should get it within 15 days.

My previous ear buds were Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro which I paid $300 for. The sound quality was superb, but the fit, the battery life and the ANC was average to poor. They lasted less than 2 years before becoming unusable. After some research I got these TOZO NC9’s on special from Amazon for $45! They are amazing!!! No, the sound quality isn’t anywhere near as good as the Samsung, but it’s still pretty good (lets say, good enough). The fit on the NC9 however is excellent for my ears – super comfortable, and I only need to adjust them once every hour or so, maybe every 20 mins when jogging. The Samsung fit was terrible and even with memory foam tips they still got loose every 5-10 mins. The battery on the Samsung was around 5 hours as advertised. With the NC9, I noticed I was getting a lot longer between charges, so after a couple of weeks, I timed it with a stopwatch – with ANC on and constant music at medium volume, after 7.5 hours the NC9 still showed 30% battery!! Finally, the ANC – the Samsung ANC kinda worked backwards, it cancelled a lot of the low and mid range noise, but that just let the highs shine through letting me hear the neighbours music, dogs barking, birds chirping, cars driving past, etc which would otherwise get drowned out by the ambient noise. In other words, not very impressive. I am absolutely blown away by the ANC on the NC9 – easily the best I’ve ever used including over ear headphones!! All low level ambient noise is virtually eliminated and high level noise is massively reduced to the point where it becomes low level background noise. Basically, with ANC on an no music, all I hear is silence! Case in point, I sat in a busy doctor’s waiting room the other day with the TV blaring, kids crying and about 20 people chatting nearby. Popped in the NC9’s with ANC on and NO music – total bliss – I could still hear some background noise, but couldn’t hear what the tv or other people were saying unless I concentrated on it. I was so impressed I bought a second pair, also on special!! So now, for $90 I can use them back-to-back and have essentially unlimited use for less than a third of what I paid for the Samsungs. For a solid pair of earbuds, I recommend the NC9’s – If you need audiophile sound, spend a lot more money.
