Customers say
Customers find these wireless headphones comfortable, particularly for sleeping, and appreciate their long battery life that lasts about 2 days. Moreover, they consider them excellent value for money and work well with Apple phones. However, the sound quality receives mixed feedback, with some finding it good for the price while others say it sounds muffled, and the build quality is also mixed, with some finding them well-made while others report they don’t last long. Additionally, the charging cord is a concern as it’s not included, and customers report issues with functionality, particularly with the microphone stopping after a month of use.

Good Bluetooth earbuds for the price
These are really good for the price. Sound quality is decent. Sound isolation is good if you use the right size earbud tips so they fit snug in the ears. Battery life is good too.I’ll point out that the specs list them as having a 3.5mm jack, but they do not. They only have the USB-C charge port.

I don’t know why I ever bought anything else
I was a big fan of JLabs earbuds and headphones but recently had a bad experience with one of their products. I have been the market for bluetooth earbuds that had an inline mic. I have issues with some bluetooth earbuds not connecting and/or staying connected to my Windows 10 Microsoft Surface Pro. The JLabs Pros that I tried would connect fine but would disconnect after a few minutes. I also had issues with them on my Android phone.I bought these Sony WI-C100s to try. WOW…just wow. I don’t know why I ever stopped buying nothing but Sony products. First, they connect to my Surface Pro perfectly and don’t disconnect. I don’t have any issues at all. The sound quality is amazing. The Sony app gives you a lot of equalizer options to sync to your earbuds. Volume-wise, these things get louder than any pair of earbuds, wired or wireless, that I’ve ever owned…I’m seriously impressed by the volume. Highs are crisp and clear. Mids are full and not-muddy. Lows are very present but not big and boomy.I also have a lot of problems with earbuds being loose in my ear and falling out despite what size of silicone ear plug that I use. Incredibly these Sony’s are comfortable and very secure in my ear. They haven’t felt loose or that they’re gonna fall out at all. The design doesn’t look much different than most earbuds so I don’t know how Sony got these to be so secure in my ears. The earbuds have great range on Bluetooth. I can travel my entire house and even step outside without any loss of signal or audio. By far the best range I’ve ever gotten out of anything connected via Bluetooth. The inline mic on these works great. I do a lot of Discord voice calls and others can’t tell that I’m on a pair of bluetooth headphones. The sound is crisp and clear. It will accept a fair amount of background noise but I don’t consider that a fault…it just means that they pick up sound very well, even quieter sounds like background noises. The package does not come with a charger or charging cable. That’s fine in my book…it’s less electronics waste. Most of us already have a charger and a USB-C cable we can use.The Sony’s cost me an additional $10-15 over the JLabs but now that I have the Sonys, I think it was worth every penny. I’m gonna go back to just being a Sony guy…I’ve never had a Sony product let me down. These WI-C100s far exceed my expectations of bluetooth earbuds.**This is my honest review. I bought them with my own money for my own use. I did not receive anything in exchange for a review.**

Good Sound But With Some Issues
I was in need of a new headset and bought 2 different sets – this and the Tonemac N8s, both were in the under $30 range. There is a more detailed review for the Tonemacs on that product page but I will touch on a few points for both in case others are comparison shopping. The Good:1) The Sony headset has an exceptional sound at this price point. Solid bass, clear vocals and treble, no muddled sound. You can distinctively hear individual instruments and vocal tracks, sounds are crisp and clear. They sound higher end than the price point and significantly better than the Tonemacs.2) The Sony buds connected to my Bluetooth immediately. I had no issues with the connection dropping which was not the case with the Tonemacs. The range is decent as well. There is a very clear female voice that advises the power status and battery level, connecting, etc.3) The Sony earbuds are very comfortable in the ear. There is a left and right side. They come with 3 pair of tips, small, medium and large. They aren’t noise canceling but do block most outside sounds.4) The volume range is quite good and clear at even low levels. This is a significant improvement over the Tonemacs, that had to be at nearly full volume but still had muddled sound.5) Battery life appears to be quite good and 25 hours seems to be spot on. The Tonemacs boast about 40 hours. The Bad:1) I’m not a fan of the multi-function buttons on just about every electronic device these days. I prefer separate track select buttons but these are combined with the volume up/down buttons however they do work well. You hold the volume up or down button about 2 seconds to move to the next or previous track. It chimes when it changes the track, which is a nice feature. The Tonemacs were a hot mess, flipping through multiple tracks, etc.2) The flexible neckband is a pain. It slides and flops around. If you are wearing these while exercising, they will eventually fall so far to one side that it pulls the earbud out. I have found putting the controller on the right side and then crossing the earbuds in the front of your neck (so the bud on the right side is in the left ear, etc.) is really the only way to keep them in place if you are moving around. They should have included magnetic tips but apparently Sony had to save a few pennies.3) I was shocked that a charge cord isn’t included. I mean, come on. It isn’t a huge deal to me because I have several C cords but that may not be true of everyone. I don’t think people should have to purchase an additional item just to get the product to function. These cords are inexpensive, which is all the more reason it should be included. Ridiculous and so petty and cheap on Sony’s part. Just an FYI in case anyone is wondering – you can’t listen and charge simultaneously but that is the case for most headsets.4) The build quality is decent but very basic, no frills. The absence of magnetic tips is annoying because they could help keep them from falling off. The plastic cover over the charge port feels extremely fragile but the cords seem to be decent enough. The headset is lightweight, but doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. Build quality is on par with the cost.Overall, the sound of this headset is what makes it stand out. Everything else is really quite basic. To me though, the sound is what matters and these sound WAY better than the Tonemacs. Just make sure you have a C charging cable or you won’t be able to use them.

Very good headphones if you are looking for basic and reliable functionality
Very good headphones. Light, great battery life, easy to wear. Have been great for traveling especially. No issues whatsoever. I tried few others before but I think I finally found what I needed. Adequate sound quality.

Since this is a Sony product, I knew that the quality would be of a high standard but still affordable. I have been using Sony products for many years. This is the first time I have tried wireless bluetooth in ear headphones and now I wear them every day. The sound is perfect and the package contains other earbud covers to adjust the fit. The battery life is amazingly long and you are informed of when it is time to recharge. Very happy customer!
