The app is incredibly easy to use and lets me control everything right from my phone—no more running back and forth to the garage to adjust watering settings. I love being able to check schedules and monitor everything in real-time, even when I’m away from home. The weather-smart functionality is a game changer. It automatically skips watering when it’s raining, too cold, or windy, which has helped reduce water waste and kept my plants healthier. I’ve noticed a big difference in how consistent and stress-free my garden looks.Setting up custom watering plans across the 4 zones was super simple. I was able to create up to 16 tailored schedules to fit all my plants’ different needs—whether it’s daily watering for the flowers or a deeper soak for the lawn. Plus, having the option between standard and soak irrigation really helps with keeping the soil in good shape.Installation was a breeze—took less than 10 minutes—and it worked perfectly with my existing system. The build quality feels solid, and everything runs smoothly. This has honestly been one of the best upgrades I’ve made for my yard. Five stars, no question.

Irrigation
Very easy to install and get onto your home network. The app design is very easy to follow and set up for watering schedules. Lots of features built into app like skip days and watering frequency. It does have a rain/cold/wind delay so no more water waste.I hope they release an update for it to be compatible with Alexa. Since the panel is connected to your home network you can control the functionality from your phone from anywheres. Very impressive

Slow & Buggy App
App loads super slowly and often fails to detect the controller.

Practical garden help
I received this item recently, and the installation was quite simple. The app is easy to navigate, and setting up the zones was not a problem. I like the fact that it automatically adjusts for weather. I have only used it once, but it seems to work well. I set up my schedules and it watered when it was supposed to. I am glad that it came with all the parts needed for installation.

So glad I upgraded to this controller – great functions, easy to install and program
I bought a house with a very old RainBird sprinkler control system. The LCD started to go out so I figured it was a good time to upgrade. I couldn’t be happier that I chose this controller made by Hiazo. Installation was simple, and the features are a fantastic upgrade from the manual controller I had.Installation was simple and straightforward. I removed the wires from the old unit, took that one off the wall, mounted the new one in its place with the provided screws, and then attached the wires to their numbered terminals. It is a good idea to label your wires with the zone number before you remove them so you don’t get them mixed up. My system is pretty simple, and the only extra wire I have is a white common wire, which goes in the first terminal. There are additional terminals for a rain sensor, additional common wire, master pump, and alternative power sources. In my case, I used the included power supply cable. My only complaint about the installation is that the screw-down terminals are a bit frustrating. I feel like a modern device like this should have an easier clamp-down system for securing the wires. However, this design choice did not keep me from recommending this device and added only a few minutes to the installation. Once I had it installed and powered on, connecting it to my Wi-Fi was incredibly easy in the app. It had no trouble finding my network and connecting, even out in the garage. As for functionality, I am genuinely impressed and happy. The app is well-designed, intuitive, and easy to set up, but it does have some issues that I’ll get to. My sprinklers activated without a hitch, and I was able to set up each zone and schedule effortlessly. You can even upload actual pictures of your yard zones to the app. I really love that I can save multiple schedules, as I water at different intervals throughout the year, which saves me from having to rebuild a schedule every time I want to change it. Now, I can simply activate or deactivate schedules as needed. It also allows for multiple schedules to be active at the same time.I established a master schedule that waters all four zones every other day and a secondary schedule that waters only two zones (where my garden and bonsai trees are) daily for a shorter period. You just need to set one for odd days and the other for even days. Having the ability to set multiple schedules that run simultaneously is truly convenient for my setup. The other feature I really like is the cycle and soak setting. This causes the sprinklers to pause mid-cycle to let the water soak in, and then it comes back around to water again. If you have a zone set to water for 15 minutes, you can set the cycle and soak for 8 minutes, which will cause each zone to come on for 8 minutes in turn, and then come back on for the remaining 7 minutes scheduled after the initial watering has soaked in. This creates less runoff waste and a more thorough watering of your lawn. I have already seen better growth this spring due to the improved watering system.Overall, the “smart” features and app have allowed me to customize my watering schedules in a much more efficient and convenient manner.Other features I appreciate include the built-in weather report on the app’s home page, watering history, automatic cycle skip when rain is forecasted, freeze protection (which I don’t really need in the south, but it’s nice to have), and a seasonal adjustment setting. The drawbacks of the app are that it is often really slow to load and respond. I have also noticed that “quick running” the sprinklers, a feature in the app that allows you to run your schedule manually at any time, doesn’t show up in the watering history. So the app isn’t perfect, but I honestly don’t use it often. I was able to set up my schedules easily, and now it just works. Adjustments are still easier in the slow app than they were with my old system, so I’m more than fine with it.Long story short, I’m really glad I upgraded to a smart, app-driven sprinkler control system. The features and ease of scheduling are well worth the upgrade cost. This is a great, cost-effective device with numerous control and efficiency features. Do yourself and your lawn a favor and get this one.
