Good sound
I was reading the reviews before I decided to make this purchase. There were a lot of negative reviews talking about how uncomfortable they were or that they didn’t stay in their ears. I decided to go for it and buy them and I do not regret it. These buds are amazing. I have own Apple buds before and I didn’t like them because they always fell out of my ears. These stay in, although I did change the eartips. They didn’t stay in as well with the ear tips they came with, but they were still better than the Apple ones I had. I invested a little more money to get memory foam tips and they are amazing and stay in.People were saying they were very uncomfortable. Idk where this is coming from because they don’t even touch my ears besides the tips when I put them in. Not uncomfortable at all. All I feel is the soft memory foam tips. Another complaint I saw was battery life. Yeah the battery life isn’t the best. I put the lights on because they look cool so I am sure that drains them faster, but I have never ran out of battery life after using them for hours so I can’t say how long they last, but they were low after using them for 3-4 hours. I think the case has a battery in it, so if you put them in the case they charge up again. I figured this out today. I used them for a few hours, put them in the case, used them later in the day and they were at 100%. So battery life to me is not an issue. I think these are totally worth it. Expensive, but I don’t see anything being better than these in terms of sound, how cool they look with the lights, and the battery in the case. Now let’s talk about sound. There were a few negative reviews about sound. I had the latest Apple buds and these are as good if not better than them. I say that because I haven’t even messed with the EQ since they sounded great out the box. I am sure I can make them sound even better if I mess with the EQ. That’s another upside. I have a samsung phone so I am not sure if it is only a samsung thing, but there is an option to adjust the EQ to get the perfect sound you want. The bass is there but it’s not super noticeable, so I am sure you can add more bass in the EQ settings if you are a bass heavy person. There are also different modes you can use to give you more of a surround sound experience, which I use because it makes it louder and clearer for me. I am happy with my purchase. I do recommend these.

Impressive so far, almost perfect
I will admit that these are the first high end ear buds for me to buy and try out. I’ve gone through many cheaper ones but decided to try out something more. I have a Samsung Galaxy Ultra S23 phone to pair this with.Things I like:• Sound quality is amazing, can pick out individual notes, good bass, can hear people talk, and can hear from different angles. I think it’s as good as my higher end over ear headphones for the PC.• The noise canceling is really good, removes maybe 80% of other noise leaving only a very slight hum. Great when trying to zone out with things going on around you.• Easily connects and switches between phone, PC, and other devices.• Stays in your ear when exercising. I had bought an over-the-ear attachment thinking this would fall out while running/ exercising but it stays put and never needed it.• Good fit inside ear, even has a test to fit in the app• Took a bit to get use too but controls make it easy to use by hand (pause, next track, go back, volume up or down).• Mic works wellNegatives:• Battery life is good but could be better. I have now and then run into one side draining faster than the other. Use of noise canceling drains it much faster. Prob getting 70-80% of advertised time, guessing at it.• Might get more rubber ear attachments, Medium is a good fit but wondering if need a medium-small. I wish it came with more than small, medium, and large attachments.• Wish it came with a tool to clean it, but I got a $5 one and works great. Just a scraper/ felt marker like thing – ear wax builds up.• Very $$ compared to others, but I think it is worth it if these hold up. I have read on reddit some users having issues.

Will become near-perfect with future updates
Just a quick aside to start, over the past decade I have owned the following in-ear buds (in no particular order):-Bose QC (Gen 1)-Galaxy Buds Pro (Gen 1)-Sony XM4-Sony XM5For starters, the fit is an improvement over my Buds Pros (and every other stemless design I have tried). Like, not even in the same league. Due to the stem and silicone tips, every few hours I’ll catch one wanting to slip out. Small downside for decreased ear fold discomfort. I wear these all day at work- more on that later- and after my ears adjusted to the new shape for a week or so, I can wear them hours on end pain-free.Touch controls are likewise the best I have ever found on in-ear buds. Pinch and tap stem are dead reliable and the swipe up/down stem for volume is intuitive and works flawlessly. The triangular stems with large, flat surfaces are instantly locatable and wonderfully usable. Stemless buds cannot compare to the ease of use.The buds look, and feel, premium. They better, at this price point. I don’t get the case gripes, but maybe that’s just because I recently retired my XM5s and their famously flimsy case for this pair. Survived a drop or two from pocket height, once on hardwood and once on concrete. Small scuffs but the hinge is still rock solid and no cracks.Connectivity is phenomenal, though this will likely only apply to folks inside the Samsung ecosystem. Can see case and buds battery info from my Watch 6 Classic, and buds autoconnect on case open to my Z Flip 5 even if my bluetooth is currently toggled off (can be disabled/changed in Galaxy Wear settings.) Got maybe a good 25, 30 feet of range before connection diminishes noticeably, worse obviously if you’ve got walls in the way.Sound quality is great, bordering fantastic after you finally burn them in. I only say that because no in-ears will compare to something like a true pair of studio monitors etc. High budget audiophiles I’m sure could pick things out to you but the in-app equalizer is great and to my ears the highs are crisp and not tinny, the mids are well developed and you can dial up a surprising amount of bass through the equalizer, and I never experienced buzzing or washout. Very good listening experience across every genre I’ve tested. Now, nothing is perfect, right? Battery life is a little short with ANC active, it runs out on me with about 2 hours left in any given shift when the XM5’s would get me through some full days. No big deal, 10 minutes in the case and im good for the rest of the night. My only true gripe would be with the noise cancelling. At times, it rivals the best I’ve experienced (for my money the XM5s,) effectively blocking most noise of all frequencies quite well. Uber trips, shopping, walking in public spaces, waiting at the train station etc they perform quite well. However, I work specialty service and in my shop I basically have to both work with heavy steel grinders and be able to field phone calls with clients/speak to customers in shop. When I’m standing and working on my machine, the ANC will be humming along smoothly when suddenly some frequencies stop being blocked, if that makes sense? All will be quiet, then suddenly through one earbud I will pick up certain sounds as louder than the other ear as they evade the ANC’s processing. It’s quite disconcerting to be honest, I’d almost liken it to feeling a pressure change in your ear but without the physical sensations. Some times it’s better/worse than other times, but I’d say by and large the ANC holds its own. If every other point in my review is a 5/5, battery life is a 4/5 and ANC is (currently) a 3.5/5.I would hope to, and assume to, see the problems with ANC addressed with future software updates. For now, as an early purchaser that understands products almost never release in a perfect state, I am very pleased with my purchase and do feel that I got my money’s worth.
