Get these, the second bar makes installation much easier
I am really happy with these though I wish they provided a little more clearance, or put differently that they were just a tad taller. It would make sliding the totes in a lot easier. My HDX 27 gallons fit tight but without modification. The HDX 17 gallon totes seems to have slightly taller tips on the handles and those I had to shave down a bit to get them to fit nicely. They seem really strong and create a lot of storage.

most adaptable system i’ve come across, works with lots of bins.
Installation was as expected. Find the joists and line things up. I love these because they work with either 16 inch studs or 24 inch joists. The tricky part, and why I deducted a star, is the mechanism in which the support rails attach to the ceiling rails. I just wish there was a little more thread catch on those bolts. I’m sure it is fine, but seems like a close one.tip: make sure your bins fit this first with a test fit on your garage floor upside down. I had some bins from one of the big box stores that didn’t work, but the bins from the other big box store did… so I had to do some re-arranging.I used 2 of these sets to be able to store 5 rows worth of bins. I also like that with these I can use some of the larger bins and smaller ones and adjust each row accordingly. I tried some of the other ceiling storage solutions and none were as adaptable as these. Highly recommend (and praying the bolts I’m scared of don’t result in bins on top of my car)!

easy to install, strong
I’ve used some of these that are similar to unistrut type that are strong, but kinda cumbersome to install.this setup is very flexible, and incredibly easy if you have exposed rafters in the garage. even if you don’t have exposed rafters, the slotted openings makes installation quite a bit easier than the others i’ve used in the past that have fixed openings.once installed, very easy to use, and securely holds the bins in place.

WAY easier to install than other ceiling mount rails!
This rail system was an absolutely godsend for our garage! Installation was actually VERY easy, especially when compared with another similar system that included 5 different rails that were independently mounted to the ceiling (which turned out to be a nightmare to install accurately). The rails seem super sturdy despite mounting really heavy bins full of holiday gear on them.I wouldn’t even consider another option if I had space for more ceiling mount systems like this. This is the one to get!!

Great for organizing totes.
These tote hangers have been a great addition to our garage. They were much easier to hang than the older style ones we had as these have less measuring and rods to hang thanks to the sliding system. Would definitely buy again!

Decided I should have got ones without the cross mounts
I decided I should have got ones without the cross mounts. There are lots of similar products. Most of them, the main rails are mounted directly to the ceiling. While these have cross mounts. I suppose it depends on whether you want the main rails to be parallel or perpendicular to your joists. Although one disadvantage of the others is that I can’t find them with 48″ long rails like this. I do like that these have the 48″ rails. But I will get the others with 24″ rails and just have to buy more rails.

Adjustable Storage
These are great because they’re adjustable. You don’t need to use a particular type of bin with this rail system. Very sturdy construction – you’ll have no issues storing some serious weight provided your ceiling can hold it. Measure, drill, install, and finally store. These are great bin racks. You will not be disappointed.
