Skeptical at First, but This Dust Filter Is a Game-Changer
I was a bit hesitant about the MoKo 400x300mm DIY PC Case Dust Mesh Filter, but it completely exceeded my expectations! Cutting it to the exact size for the two areas of my case was super easy—just measure, snip, and it’s a perfect fit. I decided to place the filters on the inside of the case panels, which cleverly hides the magnets for a clean, seamless look.The mesh is easy to clean, which is a huge bonus. A quick wipe or rinse, and it’s back to doing its job. I was also impressed with how well it maintains airflow—no noticeable impact on my system’s cooling performance. Shipped folded in half, but nice product.
So these are exactly what they say they are. I actually used them because my Phanteks P300 case doesn’t have the mesh front panel and airflow is pretty bad on them, so I chopped a big hole in the panel and put this over top. The magnet seems strong and the filter media seems good enough.Only downside I can see that will hopefully go away with time is that these were shipped folded in half, which caused them to crease in the center. Because of this, one side of the magnet is having trouble sticking. I’m going to try leaving a book on the second one for a few days and see if that straightens it out because as it is now dust can just go in through that section that won’t stay down.I guess worst case scenario I can just glue it down and pull the entire panel off to clean it, just didn’t want to have to do that.Edit: After however long it’s been, maybe 2-3 months?, it has flattened out and now fits snug, :).

Though it’s too finely meshed for running the midsize icemaker…not enough air/gets too hot. So I just remove them when it’s on. Purpose is to protect from litter dust and cat hair. So the little time the screens are off is no problem.

Pretty good dust filter but I thought the holes would be a bit smaller and it’s a bit difficult to install on cases with vents that aren’t flat. Not their fault but still.

Needed to repair some PC covers.
So some of the PCs we have use these magnetic mesh covers. Kiddos somehow lost them. Used this and some magnetic tape and voila! Cheaper than buying replacement. Great quality and price!

Original didn’t catch dust BUT company was GREAT about replacing with better product
UPDATE: The company contacted me regarding the original review and offered to send a version of the product with smaller holes. I received that within a few days, installed it, and now, after a week, I can see that it’s working just fine. doing the job I bought it for. GREAT response from the company and they did a followup to see if it was working for me. SUCH REFRESHING CUSTOMER SERVICE!I got this to provide an extra layer of protection on the intake mesh dust covers of my desktop computer. It’s in a dusty area and needs all the dust preventatives it can get. So after running my computer for a week I assessed this mesh and what I found was that this mesh was clean and the mesh the computer came with was full of dust! Let me make this clear–this mesh was on the OUTSIDE of the computer’s intake screen and this mesh was clean while the computer’s mesh was very dusty. So I would say this mesh is useless. Bummer.

The mesh is easy to cut and comes out clean as long as your scissors are sharp, the fit is good as you can obviously cut it to size and adhere with the magnets or you could squeeze it between two parts if possible.It works well at keeping extra pet hair and dust out while not compromising the air flow of the pc, overall I’d say it’s worth the money to protect your pc from dust buildup.
