Completely worth the money!
Microsoft Surface is the premier tablet-like computer. This is my second one. I bought one when Microsoft first made them. The machine is properly priced for the value you get. “Price is what you pay, and value is what you get.” This saying is totally apropos. The machine is super fast, high quality, and has a very pleasing aesthetic. I am fully satisfied, completely & utterly comfortable with my purchase. If you value speed & quality, you also will be delighted. Never take the least expensive route when buying a computer. Ps. The battery is amazing, and because I had a prior surface, the set up was beyond easy.

Great great product!
Absolutely fabulous product. Setting it up and transferring things over from desk top was very easy. Most Adobe Products now work on the Surface Pro. But there are some that won’t work like SketchUp because the of the processor. But they are working to fix this issue.

Great hardware but needs time
Great hardware but software companies are still getting caught up on the arm CPU. Industry standard software may run buggy beta versions as a temporary solution instead of the full tested programs you’re used to.

Microsoft Surface Pro 2-in-1 Laptop/Tablet (2024) – Perfect Blend of Power & Portability!
I recently purchased the Microsoft Surface Pro 2-in-1 Laptop/Tablet (2024) for my wife, who works in marketing and sales. She’s constantly writing reports, generating Excel spreadsheets, and analyzing customer data, and we needed something that could keep up with her demanding tasks. After using it for a few weeks, I can confidently say this device is a game-changer!The 13″ touchscreen is sharp and responsive, making it easy for her to work on detailed reports and spreadsheets. The Snapdragon X Plus processor with 10 cores delivers smooth performance, even when running multiple apps or handling data-heavy tasks. With 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, the device has more than enough power to handle her workload without slowing down. One of the standout features for my wife is how well the Surface Pro integrates with AI to streamline her work. She’s been able to use AI tools for data analysis, report generation, and even customer insights, saving her hours of manual work each week. It’s truly enhanced her productivity in a way I didn’t expect. As for battery life, it’s outstanding. She’s able to work all day on a single charge, which is a huge plus since she often has back-to-back meetings and doesn’t want to worry about plugging in constantly.A couple of things to note: You’ll definitely want to get the keyboard and mouse (sold separately) to get the full experience of using this as a laptop. It’s incredibly versatile as a tablet, but when paired with the keyboard, it feels like a full-fledged laptop. That said, the keyboard and mouse are not cheap, which is something to keep in mind.In summary, the Microsoft Surface Pro 2-in-1 is an excellent choice for people who need the power and functionality of a laptop but want the convenience of a tablet. If you’re looking for something that blends premium performance with portability, this is the device to get. Highly recommended!

This Surface PRO 11 ARM PC is not worth the aggravation !
This Surface PRO 11 ARM PC is not worth the aggravation ! Had it one month. Locked up on restart and had to send it to Microsoft to get it to restart. After it was it returned it get locking up on restart. Didn’t know if it hardware compatibility problems so I went thru one by one eliminated those which meant wiping PC clean and restarting from USB boot drive and reloading. The I starting eliminating software. Finally found that the problem was restoring Pictures and Music files from backup hard drives. Apparently the ARM takes a long time to actually finish copying the data to the C: drive and I was restarting before it was finished. Even though the dialog box shows that process is complete it is still running in the background and it takes like 30 minutes or more to finish copying everything over. I checked the properties of the input folders to the output and they were the same but the process was still running in the background. What’s the point of a fast processor is it runs like an old XP PC? I would have returned the PC but my return date was 3/3/2025 and when I got all this figured out I was a day late!

Great battery life, easy to use
This product has now become my go-to device for work- its versatile, light, and has a battery life that (so far) means I never have to worry about charging it if I leave the house with the battery mostly full and forget the charger! I’ve had it for several months now, and I use it almost daily for several hours, outside of holidays. Some of its best uses, especially given its not a bigger laptop, are that it functions very well when you do a split screen display. I was using an hp laptop last year that, although usually very good, would sometimes black out and get confused when I tried to split screen, so the fact that this is marketed as a laptop/tablet and it can handle split screens is very impressive.I also bought the pen, which I was worried I wouldnt use much, but which I’ve actually found to be really useful. You can use it to take notes in the journal app, but it can also be used to highlight, copy, paste. You can also use it to write things that are then transcribed to the typeface of whatever document you’re typing, which is very useful if you need a break from typing. Sometimes I’ve found that the writing/pen capability will get confused with the screen keyboard capability, but that’s usually only happened when I’ve needed to switch between the two services.

This is my 8th, or 9th Surface tablet – so I clearly like the product. However, I hate Windows 11.
