They’re the cheapest lights that work with homekit so that counts for a lot, despite flaws
There’s some good and some bad about these lights. Good: they do work with HomeKit! They even work without the built-in app, just scan the barcode and you’re off to the races. And, you can cut them to any length, and the adhesive is good enough for the bottom of my cabinets.Here were some things I’d hoping would be different:These lights are dim. They’re fine for my under-cabinet set up, but even running a double strip around the entire perimeter of the underside of the cabinet, they are still ‘just bright enough’ at 100% brightness. If you’re hoping for that ‘glaring white led light,’ you won’t get that here. I had considered these for a closet interior and will not be buying them for that.I understand why it is the way it is, but the part I’m most interested in is the ‘guts/outlet base’ part of the light strip. I wish this was sold separately, even if it were 90% of the cost. I have leftover lights from the 16.4 ft strip, and would buy a separate plug to finish them out. As it is, I’m going to be stuck with another 16 ft of LEDs that I won’t be able to use. None of these outlets can power more than 16 feet of lights, so it’s just useless extra.Finally, one last piece that would really redeem the use for me is an extender piece that’s unlit. I would love to jog this over to the cabinet on the other side of my stove (like I said, I’ve got extra lights) — but without an extension piece, there’s no way to do so.None of the negatives outweight the positive: this is a $25 light strip that works with HomeKit. That’s worth a good bit to me, though it’s not quite a slam dunk all round.

Have it for few days nowInstallation was flawless including adding to homekit just took few seconds 1st try. I Was impressedThe led strip came with 3M self adhesive worked just fine on the back of tvLED brightness is decent not enough to light the whole room just dimm indirect light very comfortabl to the eyeCame with punch of accessories including L shape connectors for cornersThe only thing that could be considered is straight connectors for for lenghty projectAlso u only need 16’ for a 65” maybe 75” tvsHope this was helpful and not too long 😁

Complete failure
UPDATE (original review below)I decided to try another of these thinking that maybe just maybe I got a lemon… I did not… The second is the same as the first and will NOT connect to their app… I cannot stress just how horrible their application is… It is essentially useless and you may as well not install it at all as it does nothing for you…I decided to try a workaround with this thing which is to plug it into a “smart outlet” which I can add/control using my Apple Home app… That way I can create automations for the LED strip (turn it on/off based on certain criteria)…This is NOT ideal as the power adapter for the strip itself is quite large and the smart outlet is also quite large so if you can’t hide it somehow (we were able to do so), it is extremely unsightly and not something you want visible to guests (or yourselves for that matter)…Anyway – if you don’t mind the workaround approach – you may want to purchase this and give it a try. Otherwise – skip it and try a different brand because their app is total garbage and quite frankly should be a source of embarrassment for Meross…I’m sad to write this review because I have multiple other Meross devices and they all (for the most part) have worked flawlessly… Outside of the occasional “no response” and need to reboot – the other accessories have connected to my network and worked right out of the box…Not these light strips… I went through the setup process 5 times (in their app which SUCKS) and every time it failed and told me to start over…No thanks… I’ll now be looking for an LED light strip that works from a company that supports their product. Multiple e-mails now to Meross and ZERO replies…

Light up as it described, doesn’t need any APP, just using apple homekit, scan and it will connect. Light is bright enough, was hoping to buy this for my bedside lamp replacement to save more space, indeed it is bright enough,however if you’re looking for a lamp that can fully brighten up the room, you may need to buy more than a few,it’s still slightly dim.Pros:wont need to download app if you use homekitAhesive strongcontrol is easy to comprehendalso a switch button in case phone doesnt worklevel of luminous is around a bedside lampcons:not suitable if you wanna bright up a room
