So I’m a bit new to these vein scanning locks. I’ve seen all types but I’m willing to keep an open mind. I ordered this to test it and hope to be able to give input to the manufacturer and my usual customers on these brands. I see a whole variety of electronic locks and i can see both sides of these.They can be quite convenient but I am called a lot to open doors when these electronics quit working correctly. When they work correctly they can be really nice. When they don’t, it can be an ordeal. You’d be surprised how many people never have a contingency plan for when these do fail.The features are nice and comparable with many others. Rekeying the cylinder seems pretty straightforward. The app gives you full control of the lock which is nice. You can give somebody access with their own code or a temporary code. You can also turn off somebody’s permission if necessary.The idea of the lock scanning your veins is new to me and I’m curious how it does in the winter. I’m going to install it on my garage and see how it does in the different seasons and hopefully provide some intel on how I feel about it. Hopefully it does well.It gets anywhere from 100⁰f in the summer down to -50⁰ in the winter. I’m curious how it will do. As a Locksmith I like to be able to provide accurate information to my customers and manufacturers on products. This is not Schlage but maybe it will make my list of approved locks.I’ll report back as results come through.

Super cool all the features you could want with backup and doorbell.
Super cool fingerprint door knob lock. I saw this and was so excited. I’ve wanted a fingerprint door lock for a while. We have all auto locks and keyless entry except one of our doors but they are all keypad.So when I saw this with all its features I decided to get it. This has fingerprint recognition and can hold upto 100 it said so the whole family and even some extended family for emergencies can be programmed into the lock. It also can be unlocked with the app and supports up to 150 password user. It also has a keypad so if you have trouble with the fingerprint you can just enter the code or if you prefer that over the others. The number screen lights up for easy use. You can also use a regular old key and it has support for upto 100 Ic cards which I love. It comes with two cards and they are super tiny and won’t be in the way on a keychain or something. But I love the cards for company. When I have visitors staying for a few days I don’t have to meter then in or change my info because I had to give the code to them I can just give them the cards to use and works out perfectly. This lock also has a nice backup so if the battery dies and you can’t get in you can plug a usb c cord into it and a backup battery like a backup phone charger battery pack and it lights right up so you can get in and get some new batteries but it’s not for regular use only a backup. It would have been great if they had recharging batteries so you can just plug it in when needed and not go through batteries.When I tried plugging this lock in before installation it lit right up and when I pushed a button it spoke and told me I had to enter info I don’t remember exactly what it was but that was cool also it has a loud doorbell witch I’ve only tried when I plugged it in and it was on the outside but I assume when you hook the wires into the other side it will ring inside also. I would try but it’s super late and everybody is sleeping so I don’t want to have a super loud bell 😂.Everything on it seems to work ok. Hopefully doesn’t eat the batteries. My other keyless entry batteries last for a very long time.I like the black sleek but cool look it has and is super neat that you can pick your favorite way to enter everyone has there preference. It also has the auto lock feature witch we have on all of our doors so you never forget to lock door. We started using this feature when our teens would goto school and forgot to lock the door on their way out and it has be the best feature. Except when you have a service person in your house and all of a sudden the door locks them in 🤣 and they look at you with a weird look like I just locked them in or something so I immediately have to explain. But this has come in handy a lot. Also because we get garage deliveries so it’s good to have the door locked all the time for safety cause you never know although all of our delivery personnel are awesome it’s not always the regular person. It was a bit much for all the setting up and instructions but overallGot it done and the app Was easy to get. It also has a dead battery alarm witch I like so you know when to change them.In all I love that this door lock has so many awesome features, it looks nice and modern. It’s a bit big but it has to have room for all those cool features. I like that you can use old school key or the newer features to unlock the door and that it has so many options for everyone to use there preference to unlock. Can unlock from the app wherever I am and the doorbell is a cool addition. The backup battery option is a needed feature I’m glad to have so I don’t get locked out so make sure you have a portable battery and cord somewhere like a neighbor or family or in your car if ever needed.
