The install was easy.
The install was easy.Works on my mixed band router signal (2.4 & 5 GHz). They all picked the 2.4 band. I liked that I did not have to install a separate wifi extender to put out a separate 2.4 GHz band.I installed 8 of these plugs was easy using the “Manual” install option by choosing the photo that matched the smart plug. I especially liked the option to schedule my lights to either turn On/Off at regular times or when we are on vacation to turn On/Off randomly.

Works as described. Very easy install. Plug and Play.One note: if you have an App compatibility issue, download the Tuya app and use this instead as these are made by them. The Tuya app seems to connect & holds better over various platforms.

Easiest switch to connect to WiFi that I’ve yet found!
By far the easiest switch to set up. Devices that work only on 2.4 gHz WiFi band are often difficult to set up – and stay reliably connected – on many dual-band router systems (like my Orbi) because they sometimes try to connect to the 5 gHz band with which they are not compatible. I’ve had nothing but trouble with WeMo devices because of this so I’m now junking all of my WeMo switches and replacing them with these devices. I’d give it 5 stars if it was compatible with Apple Home kit.

Works as advertised, great product
Love this plug – I use it on my espresso machine, that takes about 15 minutes to heat up properly, I can turn it on with Alexa when I get up and by the time I get into the kitchen – it’s all set.

These are awesome. I’ve bought three sets of these and have not had significant issue.Occasionally, they might need to be reconnected to the Alexa app, but I’ve only had to do that a couple times in the last nine months. Instructions are easy to follow.

Stopped Working After A Month
The plug looks good, but setup with either Google Home or Alexa was difficult and took several tries. No instructions were included in the box, and the QR code took me to a site that was no longer active. So I just had to figure it out with a few Internet searchesThe device stopped working properly after about a month. The schedule function just stopped operating. So frustrating! There are better, more reliable smart plugs out there, like Tapo. For me, this purchase was an absolute waste of money.
