In a fit of utter laziness, I ordered this smart plug to control a fan so that I would not have to get up and do so. The device works well, instantly responding to my iPhone or iPad when I use it. The app seems a bit over complicated -I guess it is supposed to handle a lot more than the one fan, but it is serviceable. If I were to criticize one thing it would be that the iPad app only works in the landscape orientation. Hardly a big deal.. but there you have it.I am not sure what to do with the three other plugs. Waiting for my next fit of laziness to come.

I use this blufs for my reptile enclosures so I can be sure their lights are on and off at the same time each day or turn them on and off away from home. They connect with wifi and work great! Ive never had an issue

I have several smart plugs throughout my house so I’m not a newbie when it comes to pairing. I’ve tried everything in these instructions and they keep failing. I will be returning these.UPDATE: I was able to get them to connect to Smart Things through my iPad. Kind of annoying that they wouldn’t connect through my phone, but at least their working now. I just wish I could get back those 2 hours I spent yesterday
