    Beautiful display, rock solid functions
I must admit, I’m a smartwatch nerd. I now own 18 smartwatches with only one from a top-tier manufacturer. I guess I wasn’t all that impressed with a smartwatch that cost as much as a laptop so I wanted to see how these low-cost models compared. Of all the watches I’ve tested, a few are good but none are perfect. This model T22 from EarlySincere is one of the best ones I’ve tested to date. Here are some of the stand-out features:1. The display is strikingly good and the touch interface is very responsive. The high resolution on the large AMOLED display means that the complications on the face are easy to read. So go ahead and select one with lots of detail because the crisp text and vibrant colors look great.2. Rotating crown. The crown rotates through the items currently on the display, such as the six watch faces or through the list of onboard apps or activities to track.3. A classy magnetic watch band is included that works very well. Smartwatches must be worn snug in order for the health sensors to work correctly and the strong magnetic clasp keeps the band snug. I worked in the yard moving bricks and dirt all day and the watch never worked loose.4. Blood pressure measurements – many low cost smartwatches do not include a blood pressure sensor. That said, every person is different and all these types of watches from every vendor are notoriously inconsistent. This watch was reasonably accurate for me, but I only use it for reference not as a substitute for actual medical devices.5. A printed manual is included that is actually quite useful. It walks you through all the features of the watch and the DA Fit phone app. It tells you specifically how to connect and use the watch and what to do if certain features are not working. It is the best manual I’ve seen in this class of smartwatch.6. Speaking of the DA Fit app – this is one of the better apps that you’ll find with these types of low cost smartwatches. I’ve found that most of the smartwatch hardware is pretty good, but the user experience is great or terrible depending on the app. DA Fit has an intuitive interface, is feature complete, and continues to be updated.7. Supports Google Messages (SMS and RCS) on Android. This is a big deal because some other well-known watches and apps still don’t support RCS even though it is now the default messaging protocol for most Android phones.8. Microsoft Outlook messages work properly. Just as some other apps don’t support RCS, those same apps can’t seem to get Outlook right. This watch, with DA Fit, correctly support MS Outlook, but you have to select “Others” in the Notifications section of the app.And honorable mention: A nice weather app with 7-day forecast. This is something I use a lot here in the Pacific Northwest. As long as you’ve correctly enabled the DA Fit app to run in the background, the weather info is updated on your watch every hour. And, it seems to be reasonably accurate. No, it doesn’t match my local weather app, but it is close enough. There is lots to like about this watch. As I said before, it isn’t perfect. I wish it had a built-in GPS instead of relying on the phone, but that’s a wish. For all the features that are included, this watch is rock solid. The Bluetooth connection is dependable, the music remote works great, and phone calls are easy and clear.

Excellent entry point into smart watches with amazing display!
This is my first entry into the world of smart watches. Until now I never realized just how much value they can bring for everyday use. This one has a stunning AMOLED display with exceptional resolution. Text is crisp and colors vibrant. I received the one with a silver band, which matches any style. The band has a strong magnet snap making it effortless to put on and remove.Functionality-wise, this watch seems to do it all! Pairing with my iPhone was hassle free through Bluetooth. The watch has a single physical button/wheel that serves multiple purposes depending on which screen or app you have opened. The screen itself is touch sensitive and the primary interface for most uses. Long-pressing the screen while it is on will let you quickly switch clock faces, most of which show many other vitals at the same time. There is a companion app “Da Fit” that once installed lets you interface to a much greater capacity with the watch. From the app you can adjust units of measurement and preferences, download new watch faces, review overall stats and much more. I had no trouble browsing the app to install new faces. My one concern with products like this that aren’t natively supported within the core phone operating system apps themselves (e.g., not a name brand watch) is that if this third party app ever is discontinued, so will be a lot of functionality of the watch. But for now, it all works great.Circling back to the features, I love that the home screen can be customized using a variety of display patterns to quickly access the many apps. It has all of the usual conveniences including weather, but many other functional utilities as well. This includes a remote shutter for your camera phone, AI/speech recognition so you can communicate with Siri or whatever your phone’s native speech processor is, flashlight, phone alert to locate it and others. But one of the most significant features of this watch for me are the health-related functions. This has a built-in heart rate monitor, blood pressure test and o2 level. When used as directed with the sensor affixed nicely to your wrist I find the results to be accurate to other dedicated testers I checked. It also passively tracks steps and records calorie burn count, and even has a series of dedicated exercise and meditation videos and sessions through the app. On the app is a workout tab that will also track your walking, trail running, indoor running, cycling and other activities without needing to rely on third party apps or devices. There is also an option for it to remind you to get up and move if it detects the watch is stationary for too long during normal waking hours. Sleep monitoring is another feature that can help analyze your sleeping patterns. The integrated speaker sounds nice and clear given the size constraints it has to be in. Easily audible including when listing to podcasts and music through it. You can adjust many options including the “always on” state to display a basic clock after it goes into standby, which itself is also customizable from 5 seconds to 30 seconds. Charging is easily done with the included two pin chargers or compatible third party watch chargers of all kinds. Right out of the box even without charging it the watch was still going strong into the next day. One feature I can’t seem to locate but should be readily available would be the current battery charge.

    Amazing sound quality
I am a Samsung galaxy wearer and I love my watch but I also love experimenting with other brands of smart watches to see how well they stand against my beloved Samsung watch. Let me say that this smart watch comes very close in functionality and quality. This smart watch is packed with features, has an attractive face and a great variety of watch faces to choose from. The metal magnetic band is attractive and very comfortable to wear even when sleeping. On a small note however, I have noticed that when I have done a lot of activity, the band does tend to loosen some but does overall stay in place. It has all of the expected features one would expect from a smart watch and they all seem to work quite well and seem to match those in the Samsung Galaxy watch. One exceptional feature on this watch that exceeds that of the Samsung is when it comes to sound. This watch has amazing sound quality. I was scrolling on my phone and the sound came out from the watch from across the room very clearly. Calls and music come through just as clearly if not more clear than that of the Samsung and I would even say that it rivals the Apple watch in terms of sound quality. All in all, if you are wanting a fully packed, good quality smart watch, this one would be one that is worth a look at.
