Amazing! great value! Works great and very intelligent
OMG, vacuum/mop of my DREAMS! It is SO good! I’ve had iRobot vacuums for years and this is definitely the best of the best. It is so smart and has yet to disappoint me. The intelligence of it is so impressive. It can map an entire floor in less than 10 minutes. The app is mostly intuitive if you are familiar with gizmos and gadgets. It takes a bit of getting used to, but if you invest the time to learn it, you will be blown away by the options and settings.Pros:Super smart! Auto empties itself, cleans mop pads, can remove mop pads if you just want to vacuum. Settings for how wet you want the mop pads. Ability to tell it to vacuum AND mop on rugs that you can set individually IF YOU want. For example, I let it vacuum and mop my dining room rug because i have messy toddlers, but it doesn’t mop my living room rug. You can do quick mop and vac or standard clean, or deep clean. It is amazingly smart at avoiding obstacles. It even takes pictures of obstacles and you can tell it to ignore. You can tell it how frequently to wash the mop pads too, either by amount of sq ft or by room, etc. I also love the size of the water tanks. It also maps out extra dirty spots and will ask you if you want it to re-clean. It even avoids emptying the vacuum during the night so it doesn’t make too much noise… and by the way, the vacuum itself and base is incredible quiet in comparison to iRobot. It’s very efficient too in the way it maps out routes for cleaning.Cons:I can’t really think of anything. If I HAD to give it a con, I think it would be just the size of the base, but I like the size of the water tanks and dust bin so it’s not like I’d want it to be smaller. I also think it could maybe be a little riskier when it comes to obstacles, but I think it is probably most appropriate, given you don’t know how messy some houses might be.Overall, the value for the money is on POINT. I can’t imagine a better robot for less money. It’s amazing. Super intelligent, quiet, efficient, PRETTY, and the application seems to have NO limitations.Tip: when initially mapping your floor, pick up anything that is likely to move or what you might want the vacuum to navigate around down, think dining room chairs, for example. We have been using the X40 for less than 2 months. Keep this in mind in considering our eval. Best feature for us by far is the ability to have it leave the mop pads at the docking station while it vacuums. This has eliminated a number of potential problems. We always have it vacuum then mop. Our bedrooms and living room are carpeted. Kitchen, dining and entry areas are all tile. Prior to this we have been using a RoboRock that is more than 5 years old. Do not recall model & it did not mop. My wife is convinced that this is cleaning our low pile carpets much better. We do not have pets so pet hair is not an issue for us. We generally use in only a couple times a week.The X40 takes longer to vacuum than the old roborock did, but we have had not issues with it getting stuck. House is about 2500 square feet on one level, and we block off one bedroom. It usually recharges at least once before the vacuuming and mopping is complete. Knowing about how long it is going to take to clean, we have had no problem with finding times to run it without interfering with any household activities.The docking station appears to be well designed. Disposing of used mop water after several sessions makes it not so care free as advertised. Like other high end models, the fact it cleans the mop pads with hot water & dries them is a huge convenience.The X40 also took a lot longer to dock the first time. Much less time subsequently, but docking is not quick. We are very pleased that we have a cubby hole in our front entry where the docking station fits with minimal clearance on each side. This may be increasing docking time. See Picture.The price is significant, but if one considers time saved, we consider it a bargain. The value of the trade off of price & timed saved will very for each household.We would strongly encourage purchase of this item for homes where finances are not a significant limiting factor. However, as noted above we have only used about two months and can not comment on longer term durability.Product support has been excellent. They sent email to be certain everything was working well, and asked us to follow up with them if we were having any issues. We received answers to questions within a couple days.

Reseña de varias cosas que contar después de poco más de 1 mes de uso:Pros:1) carga muy fácil, silenciosa, mapea excelente la casa y muy rápido, no hace mucho ruido, sus cámaras hace que evite las cosas en el piso y las identifica la IA, la batería le dura sin detalles para toda la casa y la sobra.A tomar en cuenta:2) base muy grande (entiendo que es por lo que ofrece, solo para que lo tomen en cuenta), las mopas hay que limpiarlas a mano después de cierto uso porque luego al mopear puede oler mal la casa al trapear comida, jugos, cocas, aceite, etc., si le quitas la IA al trapear, es fácil que se atasquen las mopas, si le quitas la IA llega a lugares profundos pero si es torpe (prefiero este uso, pero cuando realmente quito todo del piso), el agua si la usas a diario, te dura menos de 1 semana y hay que rellenar.En contra:Creo que le falta pulir un poco dichos detalles para ser la mejor del mercado y no tener competencia, esto por su precio.Comentarios finales:Aún así, estoy muy contento con mi compra y mi esposa igual. Es indispensable en el día a día y más porque tenemos una niña de 1 año y es indispensable tener limpio.
