4.5 Stars – Great Device, but Wish It Had a USB-C OptionThe BENFEI USB-C Hub has been a solid addition to my setup, providing the essential connections I need for my Samsung S23U DeX setup and other devices. It works seamlessly for connecting a portable monitor via HDMI, along with a keyboard and mouse.I originally purchased this hub to use with a Dell 14 Portable Monitor (P1424H), but I ended up returning that monitor because it only supported USB-C/DisplayPort input, and we couldn’t find a workable HDMI-to-USB-C adapter. Unfortunately, converting HDMI to USB-C isn’t easily done because it requires specific support for DisplayPort Alt Mode, which most hubs, including this one, don’t offer.One small downside is that this hub doesn’t come with a USB-C output option. While this isn’t a huge issue for me, having that option would have made the hub more versatile and avoided some of the frustrations I had with the purchasing/returning headache with the Dell monitor. Despite that, it performs exactly as expected and has been reliable in my daily use.Overall, it’s a great, affordable solution for anyone needing a compact, multi-port Dex hub with HDMI support.

I’ve had this dock for about a week now, and honestly, I’m impressed. For the price, I wasn’t expecting much—but this thing has blown past my expectations. It feels way more premium than I anticipated, with a solid build that’s satisfying to use. Even better, the connection is rock-solid, which is a huge upgrade compared to my old dock that constantly betrayed me with random disconnects.Now, let’s talk about the details. There are a couple of minor drawbacks, but they’re hardly dealbreakers (at least for me). First, only one of the three USB ports is USB 3.0, while the other two are USB 2.0. No SD card slot. Steam Deck alternative
Read reviews that this was a good, cheap substitute for the Steam Deck Dock. They were not wrong. My old no name dock had more features but connectivity and power delivery were all over the place and got worse with age. This little guy worked like a charm right out of the box. No issues, plug and play. Use a steering wheel through the usb, again worked flawlessly.Only time will tell of the longevity.

Makes my phone a greate alternative to a laptop for work.
I bought this to use with my Samsung s25 Ultra. When plugged in I can easily use the Dex app and with a wired mouse and keyboard. Connection is stable and smooth. Excellent product. Would absolutely recommend this product to someone needing a quick solution to do work on there phone in place of a laptop.

I think it came defective because it was not working properly, I connected some devices via USB or C, and they never charged. I returned it, and bought the same one (but I used my husband’s account), and that one does work perfect. Wish it came with 2 HDMI’s, but for the price it’s pretty good.
