I couldn’t pass up after seeing first review.
I bought this book specifically because the reviewer K. K. West hated it. I was going to pass it up until I read your review. Anything that a closeminded fem thinks is bad, must be pretty good or decent.
The Subtle Thief –
It Gets Kinda… Dark.
The idea is fun and the story is reasonably well written, if a little over the top. But it gets very dark at the end. Vicious, really. Didn’t care for that.

Stopped read after about three chapters because it just repeated the same thing over and over. Maybe it gets better later on. Might give it another try later.

Disgusting, I feel sick having to give this garbage even 1 Star! Women are people, with the same genetic makeup, feelings, emotions, and abilities as men. Way to encourage hate, sexism, and objectifying others, congratulations! Here I thought it was the year 2020, where equality for all is the most important and vital movement to improve this planet we all share. Apparently you missed that memo. I dare you to spend 1 month as a woman in public, living how we live, being objectified every day, having men treat you as if you exist only to satisfy whatever need they have at the moment, constantly in fear of being raped if walking around at dusk or during the night, being used as a punching bag and then the next night as a place for a man to satisfy himself, and doing all that while also taking care of children and working full time, for less money of course because we don’t have a penis, and basically ensuring the world continues to run. Well, maybe only a week since I’m not so sure you’d survive a full month and I don’t enjoy seeing others hurt, regardless of how awful their viewpoints are. After that, examine your lovely “book” and maybe your brain would possibly be able to start to understand how horrid your words are, and that you are only making this world worse, through your encouragement of the “man’s” superiority complex and the complete degradation of over 50% of all human beings. Funny that without a woman you wouldn’t even exist…

and a 14 year old that hates women, at that. Honestly its not even enjoyable. And every time the main character speaks, its “he growled.” I could go on and on, but this is just a very poorly written book.
