The best way to describe this item is a few pieces of plastic held up with command strips. It holds well for lighter headphones and keeps them out of the way.Give that it attaches to the back of the monitor go for this if you don’t have the desk space for a stand or can’t use an under the desk hook because if you want to move it you’ll be forced to buy new strips to attach again or in the rare instance it can’t come off it it’ll be stuck to the monitor forever

Don’t use this with a curved monitor
It was really super hard to get this to stick on straight and level with my monitor since the back of the monitor is not completely flat. The installation was really awful. Also in order to have it sit in the right position near the top of the monitor, I had to cover over some of the fan/air vents on the monitor. My monitor is a good quality Dell and only a couple or years old. I’m not sure what monitor these are made for, but they probably want to rethink the design.The part that the headphones goes on is actually pretty nice and good quality. If you don’t mind the mess behind or don’t have a curve on the back of your monitor, this might work for you. But if aesthetics, design and ease of installation are important to you, buy a different kind of mount for your monitor (one that is l-shaped and adheres to the top and side of the monitor, rather than the back) instead of this one.
