Wonderful product it is easy to see the screen and it runs smoothly and seems like it is made of strong material my only reason for giving it four stars is when I received the watch it did not come with a charger and it is a pain to track down its better to order it online but other than that 8/10

I am impressed. This is one of the nicest looking smart watches that I own. I can fairly compare this to the ones that I have but I am not doing that here. Let us start.The watch comes really nicely packaged. This is the Armitron Connect Matrix. There is not much of a manual. Instead the full use of this watch is in the app. THE FIRST THING I noticed was how beautiful the screen is. The box says it is AMOLED High Definition. It is. The screen is the best I have in my collection of smart watches. The next thing I noticed is the quality of appearance. The watch looks high quality. The display is black, shinny and full size. The metal case is smooth and shinny also. I love the curves. I also like the band very much. The band is metal and incorporated a magnetic clasp. The clasp is strong and does not slide or come loose during normal wear. The watch has a dial on the side. I have used it to scroll the screen, turn the watch on and off and control volume. It is handy.Overall, this is a fine looking watch that could be considered jewelry. It is easy to wear and stays out of the way when I move my arm around. It is not heavy. It makes a great appearance if you want to dress more formal for the occasion.The watch needs an app. Most smart watches need apps to properly function. The app is easy to download. I use it on my Android phone. It is also very easy to link with Bluetooth. The app looks good also. The appearance is more vivid with colors and layed out logically. However, it is basically like those other apps but it is customized for this watch.I tried out the functions. It is a little mixed in my opinion. As you read the description, it can: Make and receive phone calls, Play Music from the phone, Check Heart Rate, Monitor Sleep patterns, Give the Weather, Check Blood Oxygen, Monitor Stress and Monitor multiple Sport Exercise Activities. It has a step counter, Calorie Counter, Women’s Health, Sedentary and or Hydration Reminder. It does NOT check Blood Pressure or Blood Sugar. The GPS function is nice. You can see your trail on a map.As far as accuracy, it is close. I did have a variation on the step counter with my other smartwatch. Sleep monitor, Blood Oxygen, Heart Rate are accurate.The watch functions under Bluetooth to make and receive phone calls and play audio media from the phone. I was a little disappointed in the sound. All watches sound ‘tinny’ and this one is no exception. The speakers are located on the backside of the watch. When I moved my arm or hand, this blocked the sound that was coming from the watch. I did not like that.As far as being waterproof, I did not test that. I am hesitant to let any watch in full water. Rain, moisture or dampness should not affect the watch. The battery life will definitely last four days. The charge also depends upon how long you have the screen on. Charging is fast.Armitron is a good brand. This watch lives up to the name. If you would like a smartwatch that does not look military or industrial but dressy looking then consider this one.

Stylish with lots of features
This watch looks good and has lots of standard features with a few that I didn’t expect. I got the gold tone and while some of the pictures make it look like it is more rose gold, this watch is yellow gold (see attached picture). It has all of the features that I expected in a sports watch including heart rate, O2 levels, step counter, and GPS tracking. It connects to your phone to display calls, texts, emails, music control, and camera control. It also connects to Alexa through the phone although I could only get this to work if the phone is unlocked. The display is bright and colorful, and it is easy to see. There are multiple clock faces to choose from and you can make your own using a picture on the phone as a background.The phone app is fairly basic but it gets the job done and was easy to connect to the phone. I recommend using the QR code in the instructions to get it rather than trying to find it in the app store. That way, you get the right app. Something that I really like is that you don’t need to create an account to use the app. The instructions that come with the watch are poor so I recommend going to the Armitron website for complete instructions. There are useful features that are buried in multiple menu levels that are explained in the full instructions. One feature that I really like is the constant on display (shown in the picture). The instructions say that using this feature will decrease battery life and it does, but it is worth it for me as this is a function that I’ve searched for. Battery life seems to be about 4 days with the function turned off, and 3 with it turned on. The charging cable is fairly standard using a magnet with two contacts on the back of the watch. It takes about 2 hours to charge from 20% to 100%.The metal band uses a magnet clasp that I really like. It lets me adjust the band to the most comfortable position although it occasionally does pull my arm hair a little.I have several of these types of watches but I like this one the best. It is stylish, easy to see, easy to use, and has all of the features that I need.
