This is perhaps the fourth or fifth product I’ve purchased from this brand, and I must say that I’ve consistently received reliable results from their items. These smart bulbs are no exception; they provide excellent brightness and connect efficiently to Wi-Fi. I rarely experience disconnections, even though I have them installed outside my house where the signal is not very strong.The color accuracy compared to what is shown in the app is impressive, and the setup process is straightforward thanks to the auto-detection feature. Simply turn on the bulb, tell the app that you’re adding a new device, and it will find it automatically. You just click “forward,” and everything works seamlessly.The color effect configuration is intriguing, although it may take some time to manage through artificial intelligence. My recommendation is to use simple keywords such as “happiness,” “Christmas,” “Halloween,” “St. Patrick’s Day,” etc, to get the best results.

I replaced my two lamps’ light bulbs in the tv room with these so that I can have colorful lights to accompany movie. The bulbs are great. They’re bright, colorful, and work well. I like that I can ask Google through the Google Home app to set it to a certain color or brightness.The app and AI “features” are kind of trash. The Lepro app does let me change colors and brightness, but I have to wade through a lot of AI features to do so. An AI tab is the default, then there is also a music tab that’s supposed to match the music but it’s just random strobing with random colors. So, I wish the app were simpler and easier to set to useful settings but besides that, these are nice bulbs.And now I can have green lighting for Wicked or blue lighting for Avatar. It’s pretty cool.

The vast majority of smart light bulbs, at least size A19, are 60 watts with a light output generally around 850 lumens. These 100W smart bulbs have a rating of around 1500 lumens. The difference is huge and immediately noticeable. Just like most other smart bulbs, they can be turned down very low, so there’s really no downside. These smart lights also produce really vibrant colors, much better than the bulbs they replaced. We’ve been using them for a couple of months now with no noticeable burn in (dimming). You may notice a big drop in light output over time with many cheaper LED bulbs – and even some brand name bulbs. So far, so good with these! I have a couple of other Lepro smart bulbs that I purchased maybe 6 months ago and they have continued to work perfectly. This is a really good brand, in my experience.

Giving two stars because these are really, really hard to connect to wifi. I’ve had this brand before and they were not this difficult, not sure what changed. I finally gave up. I’ll be returning. It’s too bad because when they do work they are great.

The bulbs are a fun option to having custom lighting in your home via your usual lamps and devices. They do require a Lepro app to be downloaded onto your phone or other device, from which you are able to link up the bulb type and be able to manipulate it from there. As long as your lamp is physically on at all times, you can turn the bulb on and off, dim, and change the colour profile at will. The bulb is purported to be energy efficient in comparison to standard bulbs.Some small issues I noticed:- It is advertised as “dimmable” but I notice a loud buzzing from the bulb when installed into my 60W lamp. It may be that the bulb is just too strong for the wattage of the lamp itself. I tried into one of the wired in sconces in my home and did not hear the buzzing, so keep in mind that they may not be good candidates for use in stand-up or desk lamps without the correct rating.- It does work with Alexa easily but if you do not use that product (or Google assist) you will be forced to use your phone for basic lighting functions. Can get a bit annoying if you are used to just flicking a switch on and off. Without voice functionality, you may not get the full benefit you are paying to use.

The bulbs are of good quality, they feel light, but that doesn’t affect their performance at all. The connection is easy to set up by following the included instructions, it takes about 5 minutes, considering you need to install an app to integrate it with Alexa. After that, you can control them easily with voice commands, and they respond well.The brightness is good, it’s not the brightest, but there are no surprises since the specifications are clearly described.

So far the best smart bulbs we have experienced.The initial use and set up with the recommended app was fast on discovery and intuitive for customization.The bulbs produce good colour with good saturation at all the dimming levels.Memory is retained when the power is switched off/on up line by switches or other smart devices or if un-plugged.The app has rules based controls so that in my case, if Bulb “A” is on them turn on Bulb “B” and same for the off cycle.The app also features “work with assistant” in which case I have Google Mini’s that can be told to turn on B (by its self) or turn on A in which case B turn on too because of the linked rules.The quality of the light and the fast response to remote command are what make these bulbs better.

I was pretty impressed at the functionality of these smart lights but unfortunately their integration with Alexa is limited.You must download the LePro app to setup the lights and link them to Alexa. From there you can add your lights to your existing groups, turn them on and off and adjust the brightness and set them to 5 shades of white or 15 preset colours.It’s pretty convenient to control them with voice or set them to a routine or based upon motion, but they are delayed through Alexa. One of the lights will take a couple of seconds longer to change than the other and there was a period of time where one of the lights would not respond at all through Alexa. A firmware update seems to have fixed the issue but the delays still persist.Through the LePro app the options are pretty endless. You can group the lights and make routines. You can use preset colour sequences or create your own and you have infinite options for static colours. You can use the ai function to ask it for different mood lighting and even have it respond to music, but I find it a little delayed so it detracts from the effect.
